MEDICAL CAMPS CARRIED SINCE JUNE 2013

On the 1st June 2013, we went to Mawokota to offer free medical services to the Kabaka’s subjects. The exercise started at 8am to 5pm and some of the activities that were carried included; giving free medication, HIV Counseling and testing and dental services.

The number of patients that were worked on were categorized as follows:

We went back to mawokota County at Kibugga. 686 people were worked as categorized below;

On the 29th June 2013 free medical treatment was given to kabaka’s subjects inButambala County at Kabasanda Health Centre II

We worked Together with Kabasanda health providers and  we managed to treat a total number of 437 in all categories.

On the 20th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty many activities spearheaded the event including the Medical treatment. The Medical treatment commenced from 31st July 2013 to 3rd August 2013. The number of patients worked on include the following;

  • Medical treatment                        376
  • HIV Counseling and testing        229

Medical staff from different hospital offered free medical treatment to people of Busujju at Maanyi Health Centre II. The medical treatment was following Nnabagereka’s visit sensitize people about family planning. The total number of patients seen were 655 and 208 were screened for HIV respectively.

Team set off on 21st September 2013 to Bululi County for Medical treatment camp. The treatment commenced on 22nd to 23rd September 2013 at Lwampanga and Nakitoma Health Centre III respectively. The treatment was following the visit of Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga.

BUGANDA HEALTH DAY 2013 

Butambala

Health is one of the fundamental and key issues in life; Buganda Kingdom celebrates Buganda Health Day every year. This time round the celebrations were held in Butambala County under the theme “HIV prevention and care starts with me”.

A number of activities were carried out which included;

All these were carried out at Ngando and Bulo health centre IV respectively. Altogether we managed to treat 1001 patients.

Bugerere

Buganda Kingdom through its Ministry of Health, organized a medical treatment camp following Kabaka’visit to Bugerere County.

Activities carried out

The number of patients treated was 2437.

Gomba

On the 14.5.2014 Ministry of Health worked hand in hand with Nabagereka Development fund to take free medication to Kabaka’s subjects in Gomba County following Nabagereka’s drive about family services.

Mawogola

We went to Mawogola County to take free medical treatment to Kabaka’s subjects. The exercise was carried out at Mateete Health centre III. Among the activities carried out were;

We attended to 1070 patients , about 1000 were not attended to due to shortage of drugs and limited time.

During the Kabaka’s 21st Coronation Anniversary, a medical camp was organized from 29th to 30th July 2014. The exercise took place at two health centres that is Ssembabule and Ntuusi Health Centre IV respectively. A total number of 2779 patients were attended to under the following activities;

Buwekula

On 30th September 2014, we worked hand in hand with the Ministry of Gender to take free medication to people of Buwekula and we managed to attend to 45 patients.
