Airtel Uganda

The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, has made changes in the leadership of Central Broadcasting Services (CBS)’s board of directors.
Owekitiibwa Godfrey Kaaya Kavuma is the chairperson of the board and as other members are as follows.
John W.Katende, Hubert Robert Kibuuka, Mathias Katamba, John Fred Kiyimba Freeman, Hajji Najib Kamoga,Kawooya Mwebe.

All of those ones are Kabaka’s appointments while other people with shares in CBS also appointed their representatives on the board.
They include Kaddu Kiberu, Joyce Nabbosa Ssebuggwawo, Mustafa Mutyaba, Joseph Magala Nyago and Suzan Muwanga.

Godfrey Kaaya Kavuma will remain the chairperson of the board of directors, while Kawooya Mwebe has been promoted to managing director’s role.

The Kabaka lauded the commendable role played by Godfrey Kaaya Kavuma as the chairperson of the board and managing director of CBS for the last 18 years.
He also commended Micheal Kawooya Mwebe whom he wished success in his obligations as the managing director.

On Kabaka’s wish a function is to be organized to thank, Kaaya Kavuma, for his tremendous contributions to CBS and entire Kingdom.
