Makerere, Kyaddondo

Namuddu Milly a 3rd year student, faculty of education, has been installed as the new chairperson of Nkobazambogo group replacing Nkata Muhammad after his term came to an end.

The ocassion was officiated by the Katikkiro, Charles Peter Mayiga together with Vice chancellor Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe.

In his remarks, Katikkiro urged the youth to put value at their heads by avoid being bribed with little coins in order to change their minds.

He also asked them to be examplary leaders by seeking advise from the elders.

Katikkiro appreciated Prof. Nawangwe for coming up with a pledge of re-nnovating the house in which Ssekabaka Muteesa II used reside while carrying out studies at Makerere University.

Prof. Nawangwe said the house is in dilapilated state which gives a bad image to the university. He added that due to the need to protect the history of the icons, the university couldn't sit back but rather to do the needful to rennovate it.

The ocassion was graced by the Minister for youth Henry Kiberu Sekabembe, speaker of Buganda Lukiiko, Patrick Luwagga Mugumbule, county chiefs among others.
