Today, hundreds of mourners have gathered at Namirembe Cathedral in a requiem mass for the late John Mulumba Luswata.

The church service led by Bishop Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira of Namirembe Diocese attracted key central government and Buganda Kingdom officials.

Speakers from both the central government and Buganda Kingdom described Luswata as a focused, selfless and patriotic person whose example ought to be emulated.
