Welcome to Buganda Kingdom Official Website

The Kingdom of Buganda is situated in the Central region of the country known today as Uganda. It is right in the heart of Africa astride the Equator and in the North West shores of Lake Victoria and it's also the source of the great river Nile. Buganda Kingdom is the home to the nation's political and commercial capital city Kampala as well as the country's main International airport Entebbe.

The Kingdom's equatorial climate provides plentiful sunshine which is moderated by relatively high altitude. Since it's near Lake Victoria, it's mean annual temperature ranges from 16 degrees 25 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperature averages between 8 degrees to 10 degrees Celsius warmer than night temperatures. Rainfall is evenly distributed around the area and the mean annual rainfall often exceeds 2100 millimeters. Bulange

Among the sub counties from Buddu County who responded to Luwalo Lwaffe include; Mutuba XIII Kisekka, Mutuba X Kyamuliibwa. Mutuba XXIII Kyazanga, Mutuba XIV Malongo, and, Mutuba XV Kirumba. Ssingo was represented by Mutuba VIII Kikandwa, and Kyaddondo Mumyuka Nakawa respectively.

They all brought Oluwalo worth 16 million shillings.

In his remarks, Minister for Information, Lukiiko, Cabinet, and Kingdom spokesperson, Noah Kiyimba, urged the people of Buganda to resort to rearing and keeping animals which can produce natural fertilizers to be used in mulching gardens.

He also urged the sub county chiefs to use the possible measures to mobilize the Kabaka’s subjects to turn up in big numbers when coming to Bulange to respond to Luwalo Lwaffe initiative.

State Minister for Local Government, Joseph Kawuki, advised the Sub county chiefs to seek appropriate legal routes to deal with issues concerning Kabaka land in their areas.

The sub county chiefs reported to the minister a number of achievements they made via the Kingdom development projects.

Luwalo Lwaffe is an initiative through which Sub counties of Buganda pass via to pay courtesy visit at the Kingdom seat and buy certificate in order to support the Kingdom development projects.
