Ssekabaka Kiyimba

5th (1380 to 1400) Ssekabaka Ntege Kiyimba was the 6th Kabaka of Buganda who ascended the throne when his father Kiggala abdicated due to old age. Kiyimba established his capital at Mpumudde, in Busiro and named his main house “Kkonomebbi” with Ntege of the Ffumbe clan as his prime minister. Not much is written about Ssekabaka Kiyimba. He was an ugly man who had two wives, Baamuggya and Gwojjanjaba but there is no literature about his children. He later died and his remains were first buried at Lukwangu, but were later exhumed and reburied at Ssentema in Busiro.
