Owek. David Kyewalabye Male meets Rotary Peace fellows from different countries

The meeting that took place at Bulange, in Mengo, yesterday, was basically a benchmarking tour for these fellows who traveled from Argentina, Burundi, Cameron, Central African Republic, Columbia, Cote d’Ivoire, Finland, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sudan, Zambia and Uganda, to explore how the Kingdom is able to uphold peace.

Owek. Male received them with gratitude and took them through the general overview of the Kingdom of Buganda; its administrative structures, and how they facilitate the maintenance of peace and conflict resolution. He thanked the Rotary Peace Centre for making the Kingdom one of their reference points, where they always recommend their students to visit.

They were led by one of their tutors, Ivan Bwowe, were mesmerized to discover much about the Kingdom and how it fulfills its obligations to its people.
