Second deputy Katikkiro tours Nvuma Cultural Site

The Second Deputy Katikkiro, and Minister for Finance in the Kingdom of Buganda, Oweek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, has today morning toured Nvuma clan cultural site, in Kawempe, Kyaddondo.
He was taken around the site and shown some of the projects they are working upon. They have constructed an office for the clan leader, Omutaka Kyaddondo; a council hall for their meetings; they have also constructed a perimeter wall to protect their land from encroachers.

The clan is working on several development projects which they hope will boost their financial base, and have registered their property under trustees.

Oweek. Waggwa was happy to see his clan engaging in income generating projects which will sustain the clan, and thanked the clan leadership for completing the registration process of their properties under trustees. He urged them to work on a master plan, for developing their land.

He called upon all clans to work on master plans for developing their cultural sites and set up development projects on it to prevent land grabbers. He urged the people to support their respective clans in the various ways possible.

The Clan Katikkiro, Festo Wanga Nnaggenda, expressed their gratitude to the family of the late Katikkiro, Oweek. Martin Luther Nsibirwa, for supporting the clan activities.

The visit tour was attended other clan by other leaders in the Nvuma clan.
