Ssaabasajja Kabaka has opened the North American Convention 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel In Seattle USA
Kabaka’s opening remarks were delivered this morning by the Katikkiro of Buganda, Oweek. Charles Peter Mayiga.
He thanked the organizers of the conference and emphasized the need to uphold it, due to its benefits to his people in the United States, especially in strengthening unity, and helping them move along with the Kingdom’s government back home.
He appreciated the theme of the conference that is geared at resolving the problem of lack of clean and safe water in Buganda.
The King urged his people to keenly follow his government’s programs, support them and desist from people who are working towards the Kingdom’s downfall.
The ceremony was attended by Prince David Kintu Wasajja, Ministers from Buganda, Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Clan Leaders, Supreme Mufti, Sheikh Muhammad Shaban Galabuzi, Members of Parliament and many others from the United States.
