Fred Ssennoga Makubuya, has been installed as the new Kabaka’s representative in Southern California, Arizona and Hawaii.
Ssennoga who was installed last night at the Hilton Hotel, Woodland Hil, Los Angeles, by the Katikkiro of Buganda, Oweek. Charles Peter Mayiga, will be deputized by Hudson Joloba. Their entire council was also sworn in at the same function.
The Katikkiro urged Ssennoga and his team to work towards mobilizing and uniting Kabaka’s people and to do as the Kabaka wills without fear.
He emphasized the importance of supporting the Kingdom’s initiatives and programs that are engineered to help improve people’s standards of living in Buganda.
The Katikkiro advised politicians to encourage their supporters to be zealous at work, in order to avoid being used by political fraudsters.
Oweek. Joseph Kawuki, the minister directly responsible for Kabaka’s representatives outside Buganda, paid tribute to the late Joseph Ssemakula Ndugwa who was Kabaka’s representative in Southern California, he served honorably and at the same time groomed new leaders who are now taking on the responsibilities.
Ssennoga pledged allegiance and vowed to do away with politics in his term of service to the King.
