Kabaka’s representatives in New England, Boston, USA have been installed
Oweek. Henry Ndawula, has replaced Oweek. Kato Kajubi, as Kabaka’s representative in New England, Boston, USA, and will be deputized by Fiona Nattabi Kafeero.
The two have been installed by the Katikkiro, Oweek. Charles Peter Mayiga, at McDevitt Middle School, Waltham. Their entire council has also been sworn in at the same function.
Katikkiro urged the new leaders to serve the people diligently, and to find solutions to overcome challenges, while fulfilling their responsibilities.
He called upon those living in the diaspora to collective come up with joint investment venture that can bring in money and employ the youth.
He urged them to teach their children about their culture and traditions, as well as to make them understand their Kingdom and Africa as a whole.
The outgoing representative, Oweek. Kato Kajubi, thanked the Kabaka, for appointing Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, who has done his job well.
They raised $12,800, towards the program to reduce the shortage of clean and safe water within Buganda.
The function was attended by Prince David Kintu Wasajja, Buganda Ministers, the Kabaka's representatives in the diaspora, and a delegation of officials from Bulange
