Katikkiro Mayiga is on a working visit to Bunyoro
The Katikkiro left for Bunyoro early today, where he has on official duties to strengthen ties between the Kingdom of Buganda and that of Bunyoro.
On arrival, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, and his entourage were received by Bunyoro Kingdom Prime Minister, Owek. Andrew Byakutaaga, and were taken directly to meet the Omukama Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I at his palace in Hoima.
They later met Bunyoro Kingdom cabinet ministers and leaders, and discussed several significant issues.
Katikkiro Mayiga, and his entourage are expected to visit the Buliisa oil fields, as well as other developments in the Albertine region.
The Katikkiro is accompanied by the 2nd Deputy Katikkiro, Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa; the Kingdom Attorney General Owek. Christopher Bwanika; the Minister for Information, Owek. Noah Kiyimba and several officials.
