Schools from Busiro contribute 18 million towards Oluwalo Lwaffe
The schools were received by the Speaker of the Great Buganda Lukiiko, Owek. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule, on behalf of the Katikkiro.
Owek. Mugumbule, explained to the students the importance of Oluwalo, as the proceeds support education, health and other activities of the Kabaka.
He urged them to focus on their studies, and to protect themselves from various diseases as the Kabaka keeps advising his people, to succeed in life.
Mugumbule called upon everyone to turn up big numbers to celebrate the King’s 30th Coronation anniversary on 31st July, 2023.
The schools were accompanied by the Ssaabagabo of Nsangi, Omulongo Wasswa Mathias, together with Mathias Walukagga, the Mayor of Kyengera town council and many other dignitaries.
On behalf of the schools, the Head teacher, Buddo Junior School, Kabinja, Elnest Kavulu, urged parents to pay more attention to the moral upbringing of their children, in order to produce responsible citizens in the future.
Some of the schools that turned up today included: Kings College Budo; Budo Junior School Kabinja; Pamville Junior School; International Paramedical School, Trinity College Nabbingo, and many more
