Katikkiro Mayiga hosts the Bishop elect of Kasana Luweero Diocese, Msgr. Lawrence Mukasa Lutwama
Msgr. Lawrence Mukasa, was appointed Bishop for Kassana Luweero Diocese by the Pope in April, replacing Bishop Paul Ssemogerere, who was elevated to the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese.
He was this morning hosted by the Katikkiro at Bulange, who congratulated him upon his appointment, and urged him to draw up solutions to the challenges that might come his way, and to encourage the laity to work hard to end poverty.
Msgr. Lawrence Mukasa thanked the Katikkiro for his exemplary services to the Kingdom and pledged to work hand in hand with the Kingdom on matters that benefit the people.
He called upon the public to join him for his ordination on August 5, 2023, in Luweero, and bought Buganda certificates worth 500,000/=, to support the Kingdom programs.
The Katikkiro presented him with a book to guide him through his service.
Mgsr. Lawrence Mukasa Lutwama, belongs to Engeye clan, and accompanied by Omutaka Kasujja Sheba Kakande, and other religious leaders.
