PAN AFRICAN PARLIAMENT SET TO VISIT BUGANDA KINGDOM
The Kingdom of Buganda has hosted the Chairperson of the Entertainment, Excursion and Tourism Sub-Committee, Hon Henry Maurice Kibalya and his team, who are organizing the the forthcoming meeting of the Pan African Parliament with the Parliament of Uganda scheduled to take place from 19th October to 5th November, 2023.
The committee has planned a cultural tour of the various cultural sites in Buganda to be crowned with a cultural presentation and a luncheon at Bulange, Mengo.
Oweek Noah Kiyimba, the Chairperson of subcommittee of the Kingdom together with the entire team welcomed Hon Kibalya and his team and thanked Parliament for considering the Kingdom of Buganda as one of the places to be visited by the delegates of the Pan African Parliament. Buganda Kingdom was key in the formation of Uganda and any member of the Pan African Parliament would wish to interest themselves with the history of Buganda Kingdom and its significant role.
