MINISTRY FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN THE KINGDOM OF BUGANDA
INTRODUCTION
The ministry for local government in the kingdom of Buganda is responsible to ensure that the county chiefs together with the sub county, parish and village leaders fulfill their administrative responsibilities, to mobilize the king’s subjects to take part in all kingdom activities to revive its glory.
For that major responsibility, this ministry works directly with other kingdom department if this ministry fails to live up to its expectations, it can lead to the collapse of other departments.
MAJOR AIMS IN THE FIVE YEARS
1. To ensure that each leadership structure has an operational headquarter.
2. To ensure that all kingdom leaders (county, sub-county, parish and village chiefs) are well mentored in administrative positions.
3. To establishes income-generating projects.
4. To ensure that the directives from the prime minister of Buganda in mobilizing and uplifting the wellbeing of the king’s subjects are achieved.
