Owek. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule

Oweekitiibwa Patrick Luwaga Mutgumbule is the current Speaker of the Great Lukiiko (Parliament of Buganda Kingdom).

In his serviceto the Buganda Kingdom, he worked as County Chief of Kyaddondo whose tittle is Kaggo.

He served as a member of Buganda Supreme Council, which organized the Coronation of King Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II in 1993.

Later, he became a Member of of the Buganda Lukiiko where he represented the Babiito Clan of Kooki.

In other duties, he is the Chairman of Twinkle Laundry Services Ltd, and the Chairman of Pates Cooperative, Savings & Credit Society.

He is the Patron of Buganda Golfers’ Association Kampala, and he is a member of Namirembe Cathedral Choir where he was thereafter its Chairman for four years.

Before retirement, he worked as Chief Accountant of AON International, and also served as an Internal Auditor for the Uganda Insures Association, for four years.

He also worked as an accountant for East African Touring Company Limited.

Oweekitiibwa Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule achieved awards during his schooling and working times.

He was given a Distinguished Dedicated Service award by AON International at his retirement.

He was a best Mercedes Benz 200 series designer from Daimler, Stuttgart, Germany.

He won East African Essay Writing by East African Tea LTD for East African Schools, with a four years Scholarship for his Secondary Education.

Oweekitiibwa Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Human Resource Diploma from Makerere University, Kampala.

He went to Makerere College School for his secondary education nand Kakoma Primary School for his junior education.
