Responsibilities

  • Coming up with a mobilization strategy for all the youth in Buganda wherever they are in Buganda, to support and engage in the campaign of developing and strengthening Buganda.
  • Empowering, strengthening and boosting Buganda youth associations in counties, institutions including; Nkobazambogo, Ssuubi lya Buganda, Baanabakintu and others.
  • Initiating a follow up strategy on youth graduates to continue engaging in activities of the Kingdom.
  • Starting up youth centered projects through out Buganda.
  • Boosting all games in Buganda and ensuring that they bring money into the Kingdom treasury.
  • Reviving committees that run different games; football, boat games, wrestling, board games, cycling, all on a professional level that includes reviving a General Sports Committee.
  • Responsible for developing Kingdom premises up to income generating standards and can later be converted to recreation places to bring money into the Kingdom treasury.
  • Boosting Masaza and Bika Cup Tournaments.
  • Following up the Kingdom’s plan of constructing stadiums.
  • Mobilizing and developing talents in Buganda.
  • Creating money generating ventures within the Ministry that will eventually bring money to the Kingdom treasury.
  • Drafting a plan that enlightens people about the importance of talents.
  • Drafting the Ministry budget and work plan every year.
  • Strengthening relations with the old partners in the Ministry and ensuring that they are run smoothly.
  • Attracting new partners to support and work with the Kingdom especially in the activities of the Ministry.
  • Following the roles and guidelines that were passed by the Cabinet in all the activities done in the Kingdom.
  • Responsible for all committees/boards of professionals and those who run the different agencies in the Ministry and ensuring that the members are all presented to Katikkiro and Cabinet before commissioning them.
  • Keeping His Majesty’s and the Kingdom’s secrets forever.
    Safeguarding, protecting and secretly keeping the aims of the Kingdom all the time.
  • Cabinet Collective responsibility in the affairs of the Government of His Majesty.
  • Drafting a report to Katikkiro citing the affairs of the department every after three years or whenever asked.
  • Doing any other work upon the pleasure of His Majesty or as guided by Katikkiro.
